I was thinking about what my first post should be about then it hit me -- as a party promoter, I know tons of things related to parties such as drinking games and liquor mixes so why not share these with the world. The first one I will be sharing today is Russian Roulette. No you don't need a gun by the way. All you need is liquor, a single die and a little luck on your side. The luck is only necessary if you're trying to stay sober while getting your competition shitfaced.
Get 6 shot glasses and fill 1 to 4 of them with white rum or vodka. How many you want to fill with liquor is up to the players. Fill the remaining glasses with water. So, if you fill 4 glasses with liquor, 2 glasses should have water; if you fill 3 glasses with liquor, 3 glasses should also have water. Next, shuffle the six shot glasses using either of two methods:
After the glasses have been shuffled, number the glasses 1 through 6. Each player must roll a die then drink what is in the shot glass corresponding to the number rolled. After the player drinks whatever is in the glass, he/she must replace the liquid with whatever was in there initially and then shuffle the glasses while everyone has their back turned. The next player now rolls and does the same.
If 6 players are playing, you can opt to have each player just roll once and remember their number and then everyone takes their shot at the same time. NB. if a number is rolled that was already taken, roll again. Likewise, if 3 players are in the game, you can opt to have each player roll twice to get 2 numbers and therefore take 2 shots. A 2 player version and other games for 2 players is available in the sources.
